Adult ASD Full Assessment (Part 2)

Service Description

Following the identification of diagnostic traits during Part 1 of the assessment, this 3-4 hour clinical interview and clinical observation is a crucial part of the overall assessment designed to provide a full understanding of symptoms and experiences of potential Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Please be aware that going onto Part 2 does not guarantee that you will end up with a diagnosis of ASD. You can choose to have this interview either online or in person. It is advised that you bring a partner, family member, parent or someone who knew you as a child for support during the process. We may also ask for permission to talk to partners, carers, parents or request school reports to get an objective view of your current and historic presentation. Once the interview is completed and all the relevant information is collected, we will combine this information to write a formal report. This will include a formulation of difficulties, recommendations for management and support, and can include a letter for employers/ and or educational faculties if applicable. This process is designed to provide a comprehensive insight into your presentation.
